I FORGOT MY MASTER PASSWORD!

Unfortunately there is no way of recovering the master password and therefore your stored data cannot be decrypted (lost).
The application does not provide "sync" option because of the missing internet permission.
To start over using a new master password you can clear the application data in System Settings.

HOW CAN I TRANSFER MY DATA TO A NEW DEVICE?

You can easily transfer your data using a backup file which can be restored on your new device using the same master password. Check this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mf7Gg8NepM

HOW CAN I RECOVER MY DATA AFTER THE DEVICE RESET?

You can only recover your data by restoring a backup file. If you haven't created a backup file before then your data is lost.

THE PRO VERSION IS NOT AVAILABLE.

The PRO license is bound to the Google account that did the purchase. In order to use the PRO version you will have to install the app through the Play Store using the same Google account.

You can check all the purchases you've made at https://pay.google.com.

If the app still doesn't identify the PRO license it might be due to Google Play store or Google Play services caching. Normally a restart of the device would fix this issue.

PRO LICENSE TRANSFER

Purchases made on Android cannot be transferred to iOS or vice versa.

I CANNOT RESTORE THE ENCRYPTED DATABASE BACKUP FILE!

First make sure that you are trying to import a backup file that was created with the My Passwords Android application and you are using the same master password that was used when creating that backup file.
Please also note that backups created on Android Kitkat or newer devices cannot be restored on devices running versions older than Android Kitkat.

I CANNOT IMPORT A CSV FILE CREATED BY ANOTHER APPLICATION!

To be able to import a csv file that was created by another application please make sure that the csv formatting matches the following:

"title","account","username","password","website","fields","notes","labels","color"

HOW CAN I ADD ENTRIES TO MY SMART WATCH?

First make sure that you have installed the application on you smart watch through Google Play store.

Then open an entry on your phone and press the watch icon in order to add it to your watch.

THE APPLICATION IS NOT AVAILABLE ON MY SMART WATCH!

Currently only smart watches with Wear OS by Google are supported.
If your smart watch is not running Wear OS the application will not be available.
